General Information
Munson Baseball League provides co-ed recreational baseball for boys and girls ages five through eight,
and boys ages nine through fourteen.
We make every effort to honor your special requests for those children entering T-Ball and Mighty Mites.
Requests can be made; however, there is no guarantee that the requests will be honored.
Siblings and the management of equal teams has the priority over any request.
Please do not make any requests for Pony, Majors and Minors as all team selections are made via the draft.
There are NO exceptions.
Boys entering into Minors, Majors or Pony divisions are selected through a draft, therefore we cannot honor special requests for these divisions. In addition, boys entering into the Minors for the first time are required to participate in a pre-draft tryout. This tryout allows our coaches to view each player prior to making their draft selections.
We never "cut" any player. Every player that registers will be placed or drafted onto a team.
All siblings within the same division will be placed or drafted onto the same team.
Please make sure that your registration form is filled out completely.
Your childs age is determined under a new guideline for 2006. Please see our homepage for a link.
Any parent or guardian that feels that their child is unable to play at his or her age level can submit a letter to the league for review. In most cases, we will allow a child that has a physical or mental disability to remain in a league below his or her current age.
Munson Baseball Refund Policy:
- A full refund will be granted for any reason until the season starts and/or the uniform order has been placed.
- A 50% refund will be granted after the season starts if one of the following conditions exists:
* The family moves out of the community.
* A player is unable to participate for medical reasons.
- No other refunds will be granted after the start of the season and/or the uniform order has been placed.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Every player, coach and parent is expected to handle themselves in a way that is condusive
to the well being of the children.
The Munson Baseball League will not tolerate any type of behavioral problems.
Our umpires do their best to call the game as they see it.
We will not tolerate any abuse of our umpires.
Let them call the game! If you feel that you can do a better job please contact us.
The league is designed for the enjoyment of the game and the knowledge of baseball fundamentals.
